EASTER DECORATING TIPS
As we approach Easter this year and with the children out of school currently, this is the ideal time to consider making your own Easter decorations and really making use of the online tools and resources that are currently circulating to keep the children engaged and happy.
We have scoured the internet and have come up with several ideas to get into the festive spirit in the comfort of your own home.
- Decorate the outside of your home with an Easter wreath. You could adapt your Christmas wreath or gather some garden twigs and twist around a simple wire frame (a wire hanger is useful here), adding flowers, mini eggs and handmade mini bunnies.
- Collate Easter pictures from magazines or print from the internet and stick on the fridge, make an Easter scene on your front window for all to see or create a collage to frame and hang on a wall.
- Make Easter egg ornaments by blowing out eggs (lots of tips on line) and paint your eggs to hang or place all over the house. Or use stickers to make them colourful and festive using pale spring colours.
- Make an Easter banner. Cut out the letters and string together to hang and use each year.
