Frida Kahlo: Making Her Self Up
Dates: Opening 16th June 2018
Location: V&A Museum, Cromwell Rd, Knightsbridge, London SW7 2RL
The exhibition will present an extraordinary collection of personal artefacts and clothing belonging to the iconic Mexica artist Frida Kahlo. Locked away for 50 years after her death, this collection has never before been exhibited outside of Mexico.
Romeo and Juliet
Dates: 12th and 13th June 2018
Location: Sadler’s Wells Theatre, Rosebery Ave, Clerkenwell, London EC1R 4TN
Birmingham Royal Ballet will be showing their adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. From the balcony scene to the lovers’ heart breaking end it is one of dances most poignant productions.

Venturing from Dubai Colin Clague opens a new find dining restaurant at The Grosvenor. It is expected to be sophisticated with contemporary dishes from the various Anatolian regions with a few classic Middle Eastern dishes.
World Cup Fever
The 2018 Fifa World Cup commences on 14th June in Russia. 32 teams will compete over 64 matches in 12 different venues across the country all leading to the final at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on 15th July.
With so many venues spread across the country Fifa have tried to keep travelling to a minimum where possible. The 2 stadiums that will be used the most will be the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow and the Saint Petersburg Stadium, these are the 2 largest stadiums. The tournament will kick off in the Luzhniki Stadium with Russia vs Saudi Arabia, the two lowest ranked teams of the tournament.
The English team won’t play until the 18th June with their first match taking place against Tunisia in the Volgograd Arena. The team will then have a 6 day break next meeting Panama on the 24th June at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium and the final group game on the 28th June versus Belgium at the Kaliningrad Stadium.
Revenge for the Ashes
Date: 13th – 27th June
Location: Edgbaston, Lord’s, Trent Bridge, the Ageas Bowl and The Oval
The Australian cricket team return to England for 5 One Day International’s. It may not be the ashes but it is the chance for England to fight back after a bruising few months. England have a packed schedule with India visiting in July for a 3 match Twenty20 series all in preparation for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. With the test’s taking place at some of the best cricket venues in the UK there are many great opportunities to enjoy the action.
Ultimate Ascot Experience
Dates: 19th – 23rd June
Potentially the most remarkable and memorable occasion in the sporting calendar, Royal Ascot, is almost here. From the 19th to 23rd June the Royal Meeting will not only deliver world-class horse racing but also high fashion, pageantry and Fine Dining.
